Matthew Jordan

Matthew is a massive sports fan. In particular, he follows the England cricket team and Liverpool Football Club.
Matthew's grandfather is Anthony Jordan, who won a silver medal at the 1966 Commonwealth Games in mixed doubles. He's also a member of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and watched on as Matthew won the St Andrews Links Trophy in 2017 from the clubhouse.
Jordan represented Great Britain and Ireland in the 2017 Walker Cup alongside teammate Robert MacIntyre. The US team included Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Champ, and Will Zalatoris.
Jordan turned professional in September 2018, after the Eisenhower Trophy. He was T-68th at the KLM Open, missed the cut at the Portugal Masters, and T-32nd at the Alfred Dunhill Links.
2019 Notes: Played in 18 Challenge Tour events, making 16 cuts with seven top-ten finishes. He was 9th in the Road to Malloorca with earnings of euro119,132. He was T-7th at the Turkish Airlines Challenge and T-6th at the Andalucia - Costa del Sol Match Play 9. He won the Italian Challenge Open Eneos Motor Oil, beating Italian Lorenzo Scalise with a par on the first playoff hole. Jordan added a T-5th at the Made in Denmark Challenge, T-9th at the Foshan Open, and finished the season with a T-4th at the Challenge Tour Grand Final. He also played in seven European Tour events and was T-5th at the Alfred Dunhill Links, shooting 68 in the final round at St. Andrews to finish three back of winner Victor Perez.
2020 Notes: Played in 21 European Tour events, making 17 cuts with two top-ten finishes. He was 77th in the Race to Dubai, earning euro228,954. Was T-3rd at the ISPS Handa Wales Open, three back of winner Romain Langasque. He was T-9th at the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown.
2021 Notes: Played in 23 European Tour events, making 14 cuts with three top-ten finishes. He was 76th in the Race to Dubai with earnings of euro407,142. He was T-4th at the Omega European Masters, three shots back of winner Rasmus Hojgaard. He was T-5th at the Portugal Masters and T-6th at the Hero Open.
2022 Notes: He played in 28 DP World Tour events making 19 cuts with two top-ten finishes. He was 70th in the Race to Dubai. T-5th at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters was co-leader going into the final round but shot 76 to finish three back of winner Ewen Ferguson. Shot a third-round 62 at the Made in Himmerland to get within a shot of the lead, shot 70 in the final round to finish T-4th, four shots back of winner Oliver Wilson. Ended his season with a T-44th finish at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
2023 Notes: Played in 28 European Tour events, making 18 cuts with two top-ten finishes. He was 63rd in the Race to Dubai, earning euro797,705. He was T-9th at the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed and T-10th at the Open Championship.
2024 Notes: Was T-4th at the Magical Kenya Open, three shots back of the winner Darius Van Driel. Shot a final round 65 to finish T-5th at the Soudal Open, two shots back of the winner Nacho Elvira.
