Max Greyserman

Started playing golf at age 4 when his parents brought him along when they were playing. His father, Alex, is a hedge fund manager and a math professor at Columbia; mother Elaine, played tennis at Rutgers. Played in the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur, by didn't qualify for match play. Won the 2014 New Jersey State Open Championship at the age of 19 becoming one of the youngest ever to win the event. Failed to qualify for match play in the 2015 U.S. Amateur. Won the 2013 N.J. Junior Championship and was a finalist in 2013 St. Andrews Boys Open. In 2015, won the NJSGA Amateur Championship with a 3-under 277 (69-74-70-64), overcoming a six-shot deficit in the final round.
Attended the Peddie School and led the team to three state championships. Was a two-time Coaches Award winner and team captain as a senior. Also won N.J. State Prep championship with a state record team score and led his team to MAPL and Mercer County championships. Helped lead Peddie to state championship and undefeated dual meet season as a junior and made a six-foot putt in a playoff to clinch the state championship as a freshman.
Named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team in 2016. Member of the Duke contingent at both the ACC Championship and the NCAA Stillwater Regional in his junior year. Posted his career-best stroke average of 72.07 in his senior year after a 73.20 average in his junior year.
Graduated from Duke in 2017 and immediately turned pro after the NCAAs. Gained conditional status on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada when he finished No. 14 at the qualifying tournament held at Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community in Comox, B.C. Missed the cut in the four Mackenzie Tour events he played in.
2018 Notes: Finished T-14th in Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada Qualifying tournament. In his first start was T-41st at the Freedom 55 Financial Open.
