Michael Bradley

Took up golf at age 6 and competed in his first tournament, a Pee Wee contest in Orlando, Florida, at a 7-year-old. His father, John, a retired club professional, has been his only coach. John Bradley taught his son to learn the game by feel, not mechanics. Recorded a 59 in a Canadian Tour event in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
All-American at Oklahoma State in 1987 and 1988. Competed on the Australian Tour in 1992.
Shot opening-round 63 in the 1995 PGA Championship, one of 18 such scores which are the lowest round ever in the four professional majors. Went on to finish T-54th in that championship.
Career-low round, 62 in the 3rd round of the 1994 Hardee's Golf Classic.
Played on the PGA Tour between 1993 and 2000, then again from 2008 through 2013. Has made 401 starts winning 4 times, been runner-up twice and third three times. Along with making 204 cuts he has 21 top-10 and 57 top-25s. In his career, he has earned $5,664,934 and his best year was in 1996 when he won the Buick Challenge, was second once and third twice. He earned $820,825 (best of his career) and finished 20th on the money list.
2016 Notes: Played in his first PGA Tour Champions Tour at the Senior Open Championship, finishing T-36th. Played in 9 events, best finish was T-13th at the SAS Championship. He was 73rd in both money and Schwab rankings. His last top-10 was his victory at the 2011 Puerto Rico Open. He played in eight PGA Tour events in 2016 to get ready for PGA Tour Champions, best finish was T-26th Puerto Rico Open.
2017 Notes: Completed his first full season on the Champions Tour and advanced to the first round of the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs but was unable to advance following a T-32nd finish which left him 63rd on the final money list. Had two top-tens, T-10th at the Principal Charity Classic and T-8th at the SAS Championship.
2018 Notes: Played in 17 PGA Tour Champions events with one top-ten a runner-up finish at Dick's Sporting Goods Open. Was the seventh alternate and got in when Bill Glasson withdrew. Bradley shot a first round 65 to lead and finished with a pair of 68s. Advanced to the second Playoffs event, the Invesco QQQ Championship and finished 48th in the standings, failing to advance to the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
2019 Notes: Best finish T-20th Insperity Invitational.
