1989 Senior Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 30; top 10 finishes - 17; stroke average 70.87 (ranked 11th); money $647,985 (ranked 2nd); best finish, winner, 1989 Mazda Senior TPC and USGA Senior Open, also finished second five times, third once... In 1989 led the RJR Stats All-Around statistical category for the second year in a row.
