Pernilla Lindberg

Started playing golf at age three and credits three-time U.S. Women's Open champion Annika Sorenstam as the individual who influenced her career the most.
Lindberg played golf at Oklahoma State, winning three times and named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. She also garnered First-Team All-American status in 2007 and 2009 and won the 2007 NCAA West Regionals.
Her hobbies include alpine skiing and working out when she's not playing golf. Growing up in Sweden, she was a competitive skier but withdrew from her final ski race after watching a fellow competitor break her legs during a run. Says her secret talent is sewing and that her mom is a very good dressmaker. She graduated from Oklahoma State in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in international business.
She joined the Duramed Futures Tour in June 2009 and qualified at the end of the year for both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour for 2010. Lindberg played on Sweden's winning Women's World Amateur Team in 2008.
In 2009, she turned professional in June. She finished 19th in the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she earned Priority List Category 11 for the 2010 LPGA season. Competed on the Duramed Futures Tour, recording five top-10 finishes. Her best finish was T-2nd at the Eagle Classic.
In 2010, she played in 14 events, and her best finish was T-33rd at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. She played in eight events in her rookie season on the LET and recorded two top-10 finishes with a career-best T-2nd at the Pegasus New Zealand Women's Open.
2011 Notes: Finished T-29th at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup and the CN Canadian Women's Open. She was T-32nd at the Kia Classic. On the LET, she posted six top 10s, including a career-best finish of 2nd at the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open in China.
2012 Notes: Played in 18 events, making 10 cuts. She had four top-20 finishes and recorded a career-best T-11th finish at the Navistar LPGA Classic. Earned $131,204, which ranked 70th on the money list. Carded a career-low 64 in the first round of the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic. On the Ladies European Tour, she played in 14 events and recorded five top 10s. Her best finish was 3rd at the World Ladies Championship in China and T-4th at the Ladies Irish Open and Sanya Ladies Open. She was T-6th at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open and T-7th at the UniCredit Ladies German Open. Her season earnings totaled euros 99,404.01 (18th on the money list).
2013 Notes: Played in 25 events, making the cut 17 times and finishing 60th on the Tour money list. Had four top-25 finishes, including a career-best T-11th at the Ricoh Women's British Open. Also played in nine tournaments on the LET and recorded three top-10s. Ended the season ranked 18th on the LET money list for the third consecutive year.
2014 Notes: Played in 13 events on the LPGA Tour with a best finish of T-29th at the JTBC Founders Cup, where she finished the tournament at 11-under par. She also placed T-34th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship and finished 42nd on the LPGA money list with $411,232. She finished 52nd in CME points with 23 cuts made in 30 starts. She had three top-10s and was T-3rd at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, making four straight birdies twice during a final-round 63 to finish four strokes back of winner Shanshan Feng.
2015 Notes: Finished a career-best 40th on the money list, making 23 cuts in 29 starts. Had her career-best finish in a major with a T-5th at the U.S. Women's Open after a final-round 67; it was her only top-10 finish of the year.
2016 Notes: Played in 30 LPGA events making 22 cuts with two top-10s. Best finish 7th at the Blue Bay LPGA and T-10th at the LOTTE Championship. Was 59th on the money list with $329,885 and 65th in CME points. She was T-31st at the Rio Olympics as a member of Sweden's women's golf team.
2017 Notes: Played in 28 LPGA events making 17 cuts. Had 2 top-10s, T-9th at the Lorena Ochoa Match Play, losing to Ariya Jutanugarn 5 & 3 in Round 3, and a T-4th in her last start of the year at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2018 Notes: She was T-5th in the Women's Victoria Open and 4th at the Canberra Classic on the LET. Played in 27 LPGA Tour events making 22 cuts with two top-ten finishes. She won for the first time on the LPGA Tour at the ANA Inspiration, beating Inbee Park on the 8th playoff hole Monday morning after they tied at 15-under 273. Was T-10th a the Hugel-JTBC L.A. Open. Was 29th on the money list with $669,628 and 35th in the Race to CME. She was a member of Sweden's team in the UL International Crown and was 2-2-0 in the matches.
2019 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA Tour events making 12 cuts. Was 111th on the money list with $100,054 in earnings and was 114th on the CME points list. She got married to Dan Taylor in New Zealand on Jan. 31. Taylor, who starts 2019 as the caddie for Ariya Jutanugarn, caddied for Lindberg in Australia. He had been Lindberg's caddie for several years, but they both feel it's best for them that he doesn't work for them during their honeymoon season. Best finish T-23rd KIA Classic.
2020 Notes: Played in 17 LPGA Tour events making 15 cuts with one top-ten. Was 50th on the money list with $229,189 in earnings, she was 58th on the CME points list. Was T-9th at the Marathon Classic it was her first top-ten in two years.
2021 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events making 12 cuts with one top-ten. Was 102nd on the money list with $127,907 in earnings, and was 103rd on the CME points list. Best finish was -8th at the ISPS Handa World Invitational.
2022 Notes: Best finish in her first 13 starts was T-42nd at the JTBC Classic.
