Peter Townsend

Three times a European Tour winner in the late 1960's and early 1970's, Peter has also earned Ryder Cup (1969 & '71), Walker Cup (1965) and World Cup (1969 & '74) honours. As a past PGA Captain and winner in 12 countries all round the world, Peter has contributed a great deal to the game. Currently a busy consultant with European Golf Design, the European Tour-International Management Group Joint Venture, Peter still finds the time to compete on the European Seniors Tour, playing 16 events during 2000 and finishing 46th on Order of Merit.
