Q Baek

Born Baek Kyu-jung, she now goes by the name Q Baek. As an amateur, Baek played on the winning South Korean team in the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2012 alongside Kim Hyo-joo and Kim Min-sun.
Baek turned professional late in 2012 and started playing on the LPGA of Korea Tour. In 2012 she played in four events, with her best finish 13th at the Rush & Cash Charity Classic.
2013 notes: Competed on the KLPGA Dream Tour and recorded two victories en route to finishing fourth on the money list to earn KLPGA Tour status for the 2014 season. She led the 2013 Korean Women?s Open after three rounds and eventually finished third.
2014 Notes: Defeated Brittany Lincicome and In Gee Chun in a one-hole playoff at the KEB-HanaBank Championship as a member of the KLPGA and earned LPGA membership for the 2015 season. It was Q?s first-ever appearance in an LPGA event as she primarily played on the KLPGA where she recorded three additional victories and two third-place finishes. Finished fifth on the Tour?s money list and earned Rookie of the Year honors on the KLPGA. Because of her win at the KEB-Hana Bank Championship was offered membership into the LPGA Tour which she accepted for the 2015 season. She did all this despite suffering a back injury early in the year and was forced to wear a support belt to alleviate pain.
2015 Notes: Played in 27 events on the LPGA Tour, best finish was T-5th at the Marathon Classic, her only top-10 finish. Was 57th on the money list.
2016 Notes: Best finish of the year, 11th at the Honda LPGA Thailand.
