Sam Randolph

PGA Director of Instruction at Mira Vista Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1981, won the California State Junior Championship and the Junior World Golf Championship. Was a member of the USC golf team, where he was a four-time All-American with 12 collegiate wins. Was inducted into the USC Sports Hall of fame in 2005 and in 2016 was named to the Pac-12 All-Century Golf Team. Winner, 1985 U.S. Amateur after finishing runner-up in 1984. Member of victorious 1985 U.S. Walker Cup Team. Low Amateur in the Masters twice (1985/T-17, '86/T-36) and the 1986 U.S. Open. Turned professional and joined the PGA Tour in 1986, where he remained a member through 1992, earning one victory, the 1987 Bank of Boston Classic at TPC Boston during his rookie season (now the Deutsche Bank Championship). Played in 171 PGA Tour events making 86 cuts, finishing in the top-25 on 25 occasions and posting five top-10s. From 1993 to 2002, Randolph played primarily on the Web.com Tour (256 events, made 120 cuts, including 3 runner-up finishes), played in four PGA Tour Champions events in 2014 and made 2 cuts. Grew up around the game his father, Sam Randolph, Sr., was the Head Golf Professional for 38 years at La Cumbre Country Club in Santa Barbara, Calif.
