Sarah Kemp

Started playing golf at the age of 12. She credits her parents, as well as Bill McWilliam and Peter Knight, as the individuals most influencing her career.
She was the top-ranked junior in New South Wales, Australia, in 2001-03, and was also the top amateur in 2003. At the Australian Junior Amateur Championship, she was runner-up in 2002 and champion in 2003. Earned low-amateur honors at the 2003 Australian Ladies Open and also won the 2003 Australian Junior Amateur Championship, followed by a runner-up finish in 2004. In 2003 and 2005, she was the Australian Stroke Play champion and was a member of the 2004 Australian World Cup Team.
2005 Notes: as an amateur, was a co-medalist at the Ladies European Tour's Qualifying School Stage 2; turned professional in November and immediately recorded back-to-back victories on the Australia Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) Tour at the Titanium Golf Ladies Classic and Jack Newton Celebrity Classic in consecutive weeks.
2006 Notes: Recorded six top-10 finishes on the ALPG, finishing second on the ALPG Order of Merit; also recorded three top-10 finishes on the Ladies European Tour (LET).
2007 Notes: Recorded six consecutive top-10 finishes in LET events; also competed on the ALPG Tour; carded birdies on her final four holes at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to tie for ninth and earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season.
2008 Notes: Recorded a career-best tie for 13th at the Longs Drugs Challenge; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for 25th to earn Priority List Category 16 for the 2009 LPGA season.
2009 Notes: Best finish was a tie for 12th at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, where she carded a career-low 63 in the second round.
2010 Notes: Played in 14 events on the LPGA making six cuts. Best finish T-10th CVS/Pharmacy LPGA Challenge. On the LET in three starts, had a 2nd at the New Zealand Women's Open.
2011 Notes: Played in 14 LPGA events making seven cuts. Best finish T-10th at the Safeway Classic. On the LET played in nine events making six cuts, best finish 5th at the Lalla Meryem Cup. Also 10th at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open and New Zealand Women's Open.
2012 Notes: Played in 11 LPGA events, making three cuts. Best finish T-12th at the Handa Australian Open. On the LET played in 11 events making the cut in 10. Best finish 4th at the Sanya Ladies Open.
2013 Notes: Played in 17 LPGA events, making the cut in seven. Best finish T-17th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. She played in 16 LET events making the cut in 15 of them, best finish 6th at the Lalla Meryem Cup.
2014 Notes: Played in 18 LPGA events, making 11 cuts. Best finish T-15th at the Handa Australian Open. On the LET played in 11 events making the cut in nine. Best finish 6th at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters.
2015 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA events, making nine cuts. Best finish T-16th a the ShopRite Classic. On the LET played in 9 events making the cut in eight. Best finish 10th at the Hero Women's Indian Open.
2016 Notes: Played in 18 LPGA events, making six cuts. Best finish T-22nd at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. On the LET played in 13 events making the cut in 10. Best finish T-3rd at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open.
2017 Notes: Played in 13 LPGA events and made the cut in three. Best finish T-41st at the McKayson New Zealand Women's Open. On the LET played in nine events making the cut in five. Best finish T-3rd at the Hero Women's Indian Open.
2018 Notes: Played in 13 events on the LET, making the cut 10 times. She was in the top 10 4 times. Best finish, T-2nd at the Lalla Meryem Cup, losing a playoff to Jenny Haglund. She was T-3rd at the LaCoste Ladies Open de France 3 shots back of winner Caroline Hedwall. Was 5th in the Order of Merit. Also, T-10th the next week at the ISPS Hand Australian Open. Was T-8th at the Lala Meryem Cup and Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic. Finished her season with a T-10th finish at the Andalucia Open De Espana. She finished T-29th on the LET Order of Merit.
2020 Notes: Played in 14 LPGA Tour events making six cuts, was 110th on the money list with $43,559 in earnings and was 100th on the CME points list. Best finish T-19th VOA Texas Shootout. Played in four events on the LET, best finish T21st at the Women's NSW Open.
2021 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA events making 12 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 67th on the money list with earnings of $272,864 and 63rd in the CME rankings. Best finishes, 4th at the Pure Silk Championship four shots back of winner Wei-Ling Hsu, T-5th at the Gainbridge LPGA and T-8th at the ISPS Handa World Womans.
2022 Notes: Played in 22 LPGA Tour events making 12 cuts with two top-ten finishes, She was 93rd on the money list with $211,753 in earnings and was 96th on the CME points list. Best finish was 8th at the Kroger Queen City Championship.
2023 Notes: She won the TPS Sydney on the Women's PGA Tour of Australia. She was the 36-hole co-leader at the Cognizant Founders Cup and shot 75-74 on the weekend to finish T-13th. Kemp played for Australia in the Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown, and had a 2-2-1 record, helping Australia reach the finals, where they lost to Thailand. Finished 8th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, with partner Alena Sharp. Was T-9th at the Freed Group Women's Scottish Open. The top-ten finish got her a spot in the AIG Women's Open.
