Sebastian Cappelen

His father, Ulrik, was a member of the Danish national soccer team. Cappelen was a member of both the junior and national teams in Denmark. He played in the WC Juniors in 2008 and European Team Championship in 2009 for the national team. He arrived at the University of Arkansas in 2010 and became the first four-time Razorback All-American golfer and the school's all-time leader in scoring average (72.0). He won the 2013 SEC individual title and four titles total throughout his collegiate career. He finished ninth at the 2014 NCAA Championship before turning pro.
Cappelen burst onto the Web.com Tour scene, winning in his professional debut as a Monday qualifier at the Air Capital Classic in June 2014 to become the first Monday-qualifier to win since Ted Potter Jr. in 2011 and 21st player in Tour history. He also became the first Dane to win on the Web.Com Tour. He finished the year with 10 starts.
