Stan Utley

Has gained a reputation as one of the best short game and putting coaches in golf. Ranked sixth according to Golf Digest's America's 50 Greatest Teachers.
Utley attended the University of Missouri where he was a three-time All-Big Eight selection and two-time All-American. After graduation, Utley turned pro and joined the PGA Tour in 1984. Utley has three Nationwide Tour victories (1993 Cleveland Open, 1995 Louisiana Open and Miami Valley Open) and one PGA Tour victory at the 1989 Chattanooga Classic. He also holds the PGA Tour record for the fewest putts in nine holes, with six at the 2002 Air Canada Championship.
Played full-time on tour in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994 and 2003. He has made 201 starts, making the cut 80 times. He earned one victory and six top-10 finishes. In his career won $674,546.
Also played full-time on the Web.com Tour from 1993-2003, starting in 199 events and making 89 cuts. Finished in the top-10 17 times, earning three wins, four runner-up finishes and three third-place finishes. He earned $483,896 on that tour.
After his years on tour, Utley found his calling in teaching. His list of students includes members of the PGA, Web.com, Champions and LPGA Tours, including Sergio Garcia, Jay Haas, Darren Clarke and Paige Mackenzie. Utley has also written three instructional books: The Art of Putting, The Art of the Short Game and The Art of Scoring. He is married to wife Elayna and has two children.
Made his Champions Tour debut at the 2012 Toshiba Classic. After earning a spot in the field as a Monday qualifier, proceeded to finish T-12th after successive rounds of 69 on the weekend in Newport Beach.
