Trevor Dodds

Grew up in Southwest Africa, now known as Namibia. During his career he has held membership on seven world tours - the PGA, Nike, European, Canadian, Asian, South African and South American. Won six times on the Canadian Tour from 1995-96 and finished first on that tour's Order of Merit both years. He played on the PGA Tour from 1986-1991 without ever retaining his card, finishing in the top 125 for the first time in 1998. Earned his Tour card in 1998 with a fifth-place finish on the 1997 Web.com Tour money list, winning the 1997 Miami Valley Open, his third Web.com victory, after treatment for testicular cancer that year.
Only PGA Tour career victory came in the 1998 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, where he defeated Scott Verplank in a playoff. Win in North Carolina led to a career-best earnings year ($791,340), leaving him 33rd on the final money list that season. Was nominated for Comeback Player of the Year following that season, which not only included a win in Greensboro but three other top-10 finishes and seven top-25 finishes. Represented Namibia in the 1997 World Cup.
On the PGA Tour, played in 306 events, making the cut 144 times. He had 12 top-10 finishes including a win and two third-place finishes. Had career earnings of $1.9 million.
On the Nationwide Tour played in 178 events, making the cut 82 times and finishing in the top 10 20 times. Had career Nationwide Tour earnings of $432,773.
Finished tied for 12th at the 2010 PGA Tour Champions National Qualifying Tournament, but lost in a three-hole playoff with Fred Holton for the final conditionally exempt spot. Made 11 starts in 2011 with six top-25 finishes, including a seventh-place effort at the Senior British Open. Also tied for 13th at the SAS Championship. Turned 50 in 2009, but did not make any PGA Tour Champions official appearances that season.
2011 Notes: Played in six events with his best finish coming at the Senior PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., in May. Posted rounds of 67-75-67-75--284 to finish tied for 11th. Was also tied for 29th at the U.S. Senior Open at the Inverness Club in Toledo in July. At the end of the year finished tied for 42nd at the Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament.
2012 Notes: Played in three events, best finish was a T-52nd at the AT&T Championship.
2013 Notes: Played in two events, best finish was a T-60th at the Principal Charity Classic. Went back to Champions Tour Q-School and didn't get his card finishing T-23rd.
2014 Notes: Played in four events, T-41st Greater Gwinnett Championship, missed cut at Senior PGA Championship, T-41st Quebec Championship and T-58th Nature Valley First Tee. Went to Champions Tour Q-School but finished T-24th which didn't get him a full card.
2015 Notes: Played once on the PGA Tour Champions, 67th Principal Charity Classic. Didn't play at all in 2016 and '17. Did return and play some Sunshine Tour events with no success.
2018 Notes: Was 73rd in the Boca Raton Championship and T-67th at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship.
