Veronica Felibert

Qualified for the 2012 U.S. Women's Open at the Plantation Bay Golf & C.C. in Ormond Beach, Fla., sectional by shooting a 144 total. This is her first U.S. Women's Open.
Started playing golf at age 7. Credits her parents and sister as the people who most influenced her golf career.
Felibert enjoyed a successful amateur career, winning the Venezuelan Junior Stroke Play Championship (1997, 2000-2002); the 1997 Venezuelan Junior Championship and Venezuelan Junior Match Play Championship (2000-2002). She played her collegiate golf at the University of Southern California where she recorded two wins.
In November 2009, turned professional, played on the Symetra Tour in 2010 and 2011 where she recorded three top-10 finished including a career best tied for fifth at the 2011 Pennsylvania Classic.
