Vic Wilk

Played in the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 1979, 1980 and 1981, with his best finish coming in 1979 when he advanced to the quarterfinals. Won the Knoxville Open on the Nationwide Tour in 1994, becoming the first left-handed player to win an event on the Nationwide Tour. Won the 2002 Nevada Open with a record score of 20-under-par in three rounds. Won the 1991 Fort McMurray Rotary Classic on the Canadian Tour.
Is a PGA teaching professional and has worked with PGA Tour and Champions Tour players such as Robert Gamez and Michael Allen. Has been featured on the Golf Channel's Profile of a Pro and has hosted Inside the PGA Tour. Won three Junior World championship titles in 1968, 1970 and 1974 in different age groups. Won over 100 southern California tournaments as a junior. Was a four-time All-American selection and winner of the 1982 NCAA Division II Championship at California State University at Northridge. Was inducted into the CSU Northridge Hall of Fame in 1990. Was a child actor as an adolescent and appeared in several movies and TV commercials during the 1970s, including spots for Mountain Dew and Snickers.
