Christine Song

A Korean-American who grew up in Burbank, Calif., she started playing golf at age 10 and won two AJGA events. She played on the Futures Tour in 2009, where she finished 8th on the money list, including a second-place finish. This earned Song membership on the LPGA Tour in 2010.
Song only played two LPGA events in 2010, missing the cut in both. Instead, she focused on the Futures Tour. She finished third on the tour's money list and earned a full card for the 2011 LPGA season. The highlight of her season was back-to-back wins in early June. Song had 6 other top 10s besides those victories.
In 2011, in 10 starts her best finish was a tie for 38th at Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. She wound up 126th on the tour money list, meaning she had to return to Q-School to try to regain status on tour. She led the entire field almost the entire week, sometimes by as much as five shots. In the final round she was caught and passed, but still finished second to secure full status on tour in 2012.
In 2012, in 15 starts her best finish was T50th at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic. She finished 129th on the money list and again went back to LPGA Q-School, but finished T54th and went back to the Symetra Tour.
2013 Notes: Finished 4th on the Symetra Tour money list to earn her LPGA card for 2014. Won two Symetra tournaments (Guardian Retirement Championship in April and the Eagle Classic in August).
2014 Notes: Failed to make a cut in 10 LPGA Tour starts.
2015 Notes: Failed to make a cut in 7 LPGA Tour starts and earned just $7,177 in 11 starts on the Symetra Tour. Was T-19th at Q-School, but lost a playoff for the last full card and settled for conditional status.
2016 Notes: Played in 16 LPGA events making 5 cuts. Best finish T-47th at the Handa Women's Australian Open. Played in 6 Symetra Tour events, making five cuts. Recorded two Top-10 finishes, including a win at the Garden City Charity Classic. Was 38th on the money list
2017 Notes: Finished in 13 of 22 events on the Symetra Tour, recording three Top-10 finishes. Season-best was runner-up at Florida's Natural Charity Classic. Was 28th on the money list.
