Enjoyed an impressive rookie season on the Asian Tour in 2004. Contended at the DHL Philippine Open and Volkswagen Masters â?? China before finishing tied third at both events. Also enjoyed a strong run in the BMW Asian Open in China, jointly sanctioned with the European Tour. Finished tied fifth and had the privilege of playing alongside his childhood idol Greg Norman in the third round. Led after first round of Omega Hong Kong Open before finishing tied 12th and was later named Rookie of the Year on Tour. In 2005, he was in the money in 15 events out of 19 starts. Best finish of the season was tied 20th place at the BMW Asian Open. In 2006 Adam enjoyed one high finish, tied fourth at the Mercuries Taiwan Masters. But he battled to find consistency with his game. Endured a nervous wait at the UBS Hong Kong Open, the season's penultimate event, after missing the halfway cut there as there were several players who could have bumped him off the top-60 of the UBS Order of Merit. Enjoyed a strong amateur career where he represented Australia in 2001 and 2002. Amongst the main highlights were finishing fifth in the 2002 New Zealand Open, where he finished higher than Tiger Woods, and playing in the Eisenhower Trophy. Was a member of Australia's winning Southern Cross Cup Team where he was the only player to win all six matches. Won the Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup individual title in Argentina and Port Phillip Invitational in 2000 and 2001 respectively. Turned professional at the end of 2002 and made an impact in the Royal Challenge Indian Open in early 2003 where he finished third. He enjoys listening to music and body boarding.
