Anthony Broussard

Began playing the game of golf around age 10 and credits his father for introducing him to the sport.
As an amateur back in 2005, finished in 3rd place at the Collegiate Players Tour Championship in Euless, Texas after rounds of 72-71-69. The following year, placed 4th at the Cotton States Invitational with back-to-back 70's on the scorecard.
Since turning pro in 2009, Broussard plays regularly on the Adams Pro Tour. In 2012, he finished 9th at the Rayburn County Open after rounds of 68-69-75. He later won the Texas Honing Open, a NGA Tour event, with consistent scores of 67-70-71-71. Advanced to stage II of Web.com Q-School in 2013.
Has been playing very good golf on the Adams Pro Tour leading up to the recent U.S. qualifying. Had a 3rd place finish at the Gateway Buick GMC Classic where he finished at 6-under par. Posted an 8-under par at the Merrill Lynch Open which was good for T18th and capped it off with a 13-under par, 6th place finish at the Bay Oaks Open. Anthony won the U.S. Open local qualifier with a 66 in San Antonio.
When he's not playing golf, Anthony enjoys playing the guitar, singing, cooking and fishing. Is married and his wife's name is Annie. Once carded a 61 in the West Texas Amateur at Abilene Country Club which signifies his lowest career 18-hole score. His high school friend Craig McConnell will be his caddy at the U.S. Open.
