Ashley Knoll

Began playing the game of golf around the age of 6 and credits her father for introducing her to the sport. Says her most memorable golf experience is when she made the cut in her first U.S. Women's Open in 2006. Also mentioned she made her first hole-in-one when she was only 8 years old.
Before playing collegiately at Texas A&M, Ashley had a very successful prep career. She won the state title in high school her freshman year in 2000. She had received first-team, second-team and honorable mention honors in the years 2001-2003 from the AJGA and was a three-time AJGA Polo Junior All-American. In 2002, she captured the AJGA Chicago Junior Title along with advancing to the round of 16 in the U.S. Girls' Junior. The following year, she won three AJGA tournaments along with the 2003 Texas Class 5A State Title as a senior. Won the 2005 and 2006 Texas State Women's Amateur Championships. Also during 2005, finished second in the U.S. Women's Amateur stroke-play portion and made it to the round of 32 in match play.
During her time at A&M, Ashley was named 2003 Big 12 freshman of the year, won the Big 12 Conference Individual Championship in 2006 and was named the 2006 and 2007 Big 12 player of the year. She won six collegiate tournaments during her time as an Aggie, with her first coming at the Tarheel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. Also earned 2006 NGCA First-Team All-American honors and 2007 NGCA Second-Team honors.
When she's not playing golf, Ashley enjoys fishing, shopping, listening to music and hanging out with her friends. She has three career hole-in-ones.
Has been playing on the Symetra Tour since 2007. In 2012, she played in four events, making two cuts and winning $647 to finish 174th on the money list. In 2014, she played in 11 events, making four cuts to win $2,316 and finish 125th on the money list.
