Benjamin Hebert

He played for the French Amateur team for three years, and also represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy, as well as winning the European Amateur Championship (Beat Sweden's Joel Sjoholm in a play-off to win) in 2007 to earn a place in the field for The 137th Open Championship the following year, he missed the cut. He was a runner-up in the Portugal Nations Cup in 2007 and, this year, played for Europe in the Bonallack Trophy match against Asia-Pacific.
In 2014 he ended a fine campaign in style by winning the Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final hosted by Al Badia Golf Club, his third title of the season, which made him the first player to achieve that feat in two different seasons on the developmental tour. With six Challenge Tour titles, he is now the third most successful player in the second tiers history.

Hebert did qualify to play in the Open Championship at Royal Portrush and will play in his second major championship, the first being the 2007 Open. It was Hebert's second playoff loss of the year, he was beaten on the first playoff hole to lose to Mikko Korhonen at the Volvo China Open.
