Lendzion (pronounced �??Lin-zee-on�?� ) competed two years on the PGA European Seniors Open, finishing 28th on the 1999 Order of Merit . . .Winner, 1986 PGA Club Professional Championship. . . Spent 28 years as a PGA Professional, which included Quechee (Vt.) Club and Spring Rock Golf Center in New York. . . Winner, 1993 Chile Open, 1997 Long Island Championship, 1998 Beko Classic in Turkey. . .Competed in six PGA Championships (1983, '85, '87, '88, '91, '94) , never making the cut . . .Competed in 16 PGA Club Professional Championships . . .Member of 1983 and 1988 PGA Cup Team. . .Finished T-38 in 1999 U.S. Senior Open . . .College teammate of Rex Caldwell. . . Has played winters on the Australian, Asian and South African tours.
Finished eighth in 1999 Champions Tour Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt berth for 2000 season. . .
2000 Champions Tour Summary: tournaments entered - 30; top 10 finishes -0; stroke average 73.17 (ranked 82nd); money $147,770 (ranked 77th); Best finish, T17th, Royal Caribbean Classic.
Returned to the European Seniors Tour in 2001 where he posted seven top ten finishes before losing out to New Zealand's Simon Owen in a play-off for the Tunisian Seniors Open at El Kantaoui. During 2002, decided to embark on a series of swing changes and he is the first to admit that he has struggled since. He finished 2002 in 48th place on the Order of Merit and last year moved up just five places. Produced one of the most spectacular shots of his career when he holed a 230 yard three wood for an albatross two on the 482 yard par five fourth hole during the final round of the 2001 Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open. He represented America in two PGA Cups in 1983 and 1988.
