ELIGIBILITY CODE: 15

Grew up playing golf at the Royal Army Course and has helped young golfers, including Thaworn Wiratchant, along the way. Initially started his sporting career in kick-boxing but was knocked out cold in his third bout and quit the sport.
Made a respectable defense of the John Jacobs Trophy in 2011, finishing 6th on the Order of Merit. Won the Travis Perkins Senior Masters at Woburn but missed the end of season run in with a back injury. Burst on the Senior Tour scene in 2010 when he succeeded former Ryder Cup Captains Sam Torrance (2009) and Ian Woosnam (2008) as winners of the John Jacobs Trophy, topping the Order of Merit with four victories and earnings. That would have been even greater had his prize money from his maiden win in Brunei counted, achieved before he became a Senior Tour Member. Followed that success with victory in his native Thailand, where his 21-under-par total of 195 was not only the lowest 54-hole score to par in the history of the
European Senior Tour, but his 11 stroke victory over his nearest challenger was also the greatest recorded for a 54-hole event since the Senior Tour began in 1992. Completed a hat-trick with victory in the Berenberg Bank Masters to become the first player since Tommy Horton in 1997 to win three consecutive tournaments on the Senior circuit and the quickest player to achieve three
victories, doing so in seven tournament appearances which was one fewer than the previous record holder, Brian Huggett. Subsequently captured his first title in Europe when he won the Benahavis Senior Masters and returned to Spain to seal the Order of Merit crown with a superb closing round 65 in the OKI Castellon Senior Tour Championship. Had previously enjoyed success in Asia as one of the continent's greatest golfing ambassadors, rightly going by the title of "The Godfather of Thai Golf." He almost made history in 2009 as the oldest winner in the history of the Asian Tour, but was pipped to the Brunei Open title by Australian Darren Beck. Had a short-lived career as a kick-boxer until he was knocked out cold in his third fight.
