Player Notes: Recipient, 2016 PGA Golf Professional of the Year...Winner, 2002 PGA Merchandiser of the Year ... 2003, '09 South Central PGA Golf Professional of the Year. Member of one of the foremost PGA of America families in Oklahoma or South Central PGA Section history. Patriarch was the late Jerry Cozby, a member of the PGA of America Hall of Fame who served 41 years as PGA Head Professional at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville. Jerry was the 1985 PGA Golf Professional of the Year. Cary is a University of Oklahoma graduate and has been the PGA Head Professional at Southern Hills since 2015. In 2016, he was named PGA Golf Professional of the Year and was the 2002 PGA Merchandiser of the Year (Private Facilities). Jerry's sons, Craig and Chance Cozby, also made their mark in the industry. Craig was a two-time University of Oklahoma All-American, a three-time state junior champion, and a sales representative for PING. Chance Cozby, a University of Oklahoma graduate, is the executive director of TheThunderbirds, hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
