In 2003, tied for 49th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2004 season; turned professional in June and competed in five Futures Tour events.

Amateur
Troche was the 2000 SEC Freshman of the Year while attending Auburn University and won one collegiate tournament, the 2001 SEC ACC Shootout. She was the 2001 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship co-medalist and won the 2001 Trans-National Championship. Troche was the 2001 SEC Player of the Year and a two-time All-American.
