Dori Carter

Started playing golf at age 8 and credits her parents as the people who influenced her career the most.
Carter competed in the 2005 U.S. Women's Open Championship as an amateur and was the individual and team winner of the 2009 USGA Women's State Team Championship. At the University of Mississippi, Carter was a two-time All-SEC First-Team selection (2008, 2009), 2009 Golfweek All-American and 2008 NCAA All-American.
Says she would love to be interviewed by David Feherty. Admires fellow University of Mississippi alum Leigh Anne Tuohy, who was featured in Michael Lewis' bestselling book, The Blind Side. Graduated from Mississippi in 2009 with a degree in Business Management.
Turned professional in 2010 and won the Pennsylvania Classic on the Symetra Tour.
2011 Notes: Played in 10 events, best finish T-4th at Avnet LPGA Classic. Had earnings of 14,547 and was 127th on the money list.
2012 Notes: Played in 14 events, and made six cuts. Her best finish was T-14th at the Navistar LPGA Classic. Earned $49,778 and placed 99th on the money list. Also played in three events on the Symetra Tour where her best finish was a T-3rd at the Credit Union Challenge.
2013 Notes: Played in 17 events, with five cuts made. Her best finish was T-25th in the Ricoh Women's British Open. Earned $47,998 and placed 104th on the money list.
2014 Notes: She was 70th on the money list and 70th in CME points. She made 20 cuts in 26 starts with two top 10s, including a T-6th at the North Texas LPGA Classic. She finished T-10th at the Kia Classic after holding the 36-hole lead. She shot 64 in round two (the Aviara course record) and finished with weekend scores of 74-73.
2015 Notes: Played in 20 LPGA events making 8 cuts. Best finish T-22nd at the Meijer LPGA Classic. WOn $59,107 which ranked 106th.
2016 Notes: Played in 15 LPGA events making 7 cuts. Best finish T-23rd at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout had earnings of $45,577 which ranked 121st.
2017 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA events making 8 cuts. Best finish T-32nd at the VOA Texas Shootout had earnings of $48,353 which ranked 133rd.
2018 Notes: Played in 9 LPGA events making 6 cuts. Best finish T-32nd at the LPGA Volvik Championship had earnings of $26,739 which ranked 144th.
2019 Notes: Best finish 77th KIA Classic.
