Ed Sneed

Played on the PGA Tour between 1969 and 1986. Best year was 1982 when he placed 23rd on the money list and won the Houston Open. In the 1979 Masters had a three shot lead with three holes left. He lost the lead and eventually fell to Fuzzy Zoeller on the second hole of the first sudden-death playoff at Augusta. Has done golf course design work and served as a consultant on the TPC at Avenel layout, site of the Kemper Open.
