Florentyna Parker

Parker was born and raised in Germany but has English parents and British nationality. Her father Tim Parker is golf professional and works at St Dionys Golf Club. He got her started playing at a young age. Her brother Ben Parker became a professional in 2007 and played the Dutch Futures at Houtrak Golf Club in 2009. He has played on the Challenge Tour since 2012.
In 2008, she played amateur golf. She finished 2nd at the Portuguese Amateur Championship. In 2008, she reached the final at the English Matchplay Championship and was 3rd at the English Strokeplay Championship. After playing in the Curtis Cup Match she turned professional.
In 2008 she attended Ladies European Tour Qualifying School and managed to graduate on her first attempt and secured playing rights for 2009.
2009 Notes: Made a good start as a professional golfer. In her rookie year, she recorded two top 10 finishes with her season best a T-2nd at the AIB Ladies Irish Open, at Portmarnock Links. She also T-5th at the Portugal Ladies Open. She was second in the race for Rookie of the Year with earnings of ?64,915.00 and was 24th on the order of merit having played in 18 events.
2010 Notes: Parker followed her impressive rookie season by picking up her first win at the ABN AMRO Ladies Open with a two shot victory over Krystle Caithness. In 21 starts she made 18 cuts and had 8 top 10 finishes. She finished 8th on the order of merit.
2011 Notes: Played in 24 LET events and had three top-10 finishes including a T-2nd at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open. Finished 7th at the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open and T-9th place at the Omega Dubai Ladies Open.
2012 Notes: Played in 18 tournaments and posted 3 top 10s: T-2nd at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open, 3rd at the China Suzhou Taihu Open and 10th at Deloitte Ladies Open. She finished 15th in the order of merit with: ?101,237.
2013 Notes: Played in 18 LET events and recorded two top 10 finishes, T-6th at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open and T7th at the Deloitte Ladies Open. She posted two further top 20s: T12th at the ISPS HANDA Women?s Australian Open and T16th at the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open. She finished 35th on the order of merit with ? 56,990.
2014 Notes: Played in 20 LET events and won the Italian Ladies Open by 1 shot, with a final round albatross, the first recorded in an LET event. She also finished T-4th at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France and T-4th at the Cell C South African Women?s Open. She finished the season in 9th position in the Order of Merit with ?107,331.
2015 Notes: Played in 18 LET events. Her season highlighted include finishing T-2nd at the RAVC Australian Ladies Masters, T-5th at the Pilsen Golf Masters, T-13th at the New Zealand Women?s Open and 13th at the Lalla Meryem Cup. She finished the season 19th in the Order of Merit, winning ?82,826.
2016 Notes: Competed in 16 LET tournaments which included an impressive 8 top-10 finishes on the way to finishing 3rd on the LET Order of Merit with ?175,362. Florentyna?s best finish was 2nd at the Lalla Meryem Cup.
2017 Notes Played in 5 LET events, was T-13th at the Oates Victorian Open, T-23rd at the World Ladies Championship, missed cut at the Lalla Meryem Cup, won the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open and finished T-17th Ladies European Thailand Championship. She is presently 3rd on the LET order of merit with ? 62,327 and is 2nd on the LET Solheim Cup point list.
