Georgia Hall

Started playing golf at age 7. Her father introduced her to the game. She plays golf right-handed but does everything else left-handed. She loves going to the gym, shopping, and spending time with her dog, Rory.
She won the 2013 British Ladies Amateur at Prestwick, beating Luna Sobron, 1 up, in the final.
She played on the 2014 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup Team and turned pro in July 2014.
2014 Notes: Was able to play in five events on the Ladies European Tour, with best finish of T-29th at the RICOH Women's British Open. But her biggest prize of the year was the hole-in-one she made at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. With the ace, she won a $100,000 Mercedes Benz C-Class automobile. However, she took the monetary alternative because she didn't drive.
2015 Notes: She played in 12 ladies' European Tour events in her rookie season with one top-10, 5th at the Pilsen Golf Masters. Finished 32nd on the Order of Merit with euro54,326.
2016 Notes: Played in 15 LET events and had eight top-10s, best-being runner-up at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open. Finished 4th in the Order of Merit with euro 170,940.
2017 Notes: She played in 10 LET events making the cut in all 10 and finishing in the top-10 7 times. Her best finish was 2nd at the Fatima Bint Mubarka Ladies Open. Also was T-3rd at the World Ladies Championship and Ricoh Women's British Open. Led the LET money list. Played in seven events on the LPGA, best finish T-3rd at the Ricoh Women's British Open. Hall made the Solheim Cup team and had a 2-3-0 record.
2018 Notes: She was a rookie on the LPGA Tour and played in 19 events making 15 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She won the Ricoh Women's British Open for her first LPGA victory and became the 4th English woman to win a major and the first since Karen Stupples at the 2004 Women's British Open. Hall shot 17-under 271 to beat Pornanong Phatlum by two shots after Phatlum made a double bogey on the 17th hole Sunday. Her father Wayne was her caddie, and Hall asked Wayne not to change his socks after they shot 67 in the first round. Hall admitted later that she's "quite superstitious, and my dad is even worse," so he agreed. Wayne wore the same socks all four days of the tournament. Hall was 2nd at the Cambia Portland Classic, she led after the 2nd and 3rd rounds and shot 75 in the final round to finish 4 shots back of winner Marina Alex. She was a member of England's team in the UL International Crown and went 2-1-1 in the matches. Hall finished 21st on the LPGA money list with $837,678 and was 25th in the Race to CME. Played in six LET events, also with the win at the Women's British Open was T-3rd at the Oates Vic Open and T-9th at the ActewAGL Canberra Classic. She was 1st in the LET Order of Merit.
2019 Notes: Played in 24 LPGA events making 19 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 52nd on the money list with $403,490 and 50th on the CME points list. Best finish T-4th at the Volunteers of America Classic. Member of the European Solheim Cup team, and she was the star going 4-0-0. Was 3-0 teamed with Celine Boutier and then best Paula Creamer 2 & 1 in the singles match.
2020 Notes: Played in 12 LPGA Tour events making 11 cuts with three top-tens. She was 21st on the money list with $444,563 and was 20th on the CME points list. She won for the 2nd time on the LPGA Tour but her first on American soil at the Cambia Portland Classic. She best Ashleigh Buhai with a par on the second playoff hole. Played in five LET events with three top-ten finishes. Best was 2nd at the Saudi Ladies International losing a playoff to Emily Kristine Pedersen, who made a birdie on the first extra hole. She finished 8th on the Race to Costa del Sol on the LET Tour. She was in England during the COVID-19 break and played in the Rose Ladies Series, winning the event at Bearwood Lakes.
2021 Notes: Played in 20 LPGA events making 18 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 29th on the CME Points list and 20th on the money list with earnings of $856,659. Played in eight events on the LET, making eight cuts with six top-ten finishes. She was 13th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and 3rd on the money list with earnings of euro553,751. She was T-6th at the Meijer LPGA Classic and Amundi Evian Championship. She declined an offer to play in the Olympics for Great Britain. Was T-6th at the Amundi Evian Championship and then T-2nd at the AIG Women's Open, a shot back of winner Anna Nordqvist. Ended her LPGA season with a T-24th finish at the CME Group Tour Championship. On the LET was T-9th at the Saudi Ladies International and 5th at the Aramco Team Series - Jeddah. She played in the Solheim Cup for the third time and had a 1-2-1 record, losing her singles match to Nelly Korda 1 up.
2022 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA Tour events, making 19 cuts with four top-ten finishes. She was 24th on the money list with $1,045,967 in earnings and was 26th in CME points. Played in 7 LET events making 7 cuts with 4 top-ten finishes. She was 10th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and was 3rd on the money list with earnings of euro522.218. She was T-11th at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio. Won for the second time on the LET at the Saudi Ladies International by five shots over Kristyna Napoleaova and Johanna Gustavsson. She was 2nd in the individual portion of the Aramco Team Series-London, a shot back of winner Bronte Law. She was T-8th at the Amundi Evian Championship. She was 3rd at the ISPS Handa World Invitational, six back of winner Maja Stark. Finished T-3rd at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship, two shots back of the winner Jodi Ewart Shadoff. In the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship,, shot 67 in the final round to finish T-4th, five shots back of the winner Lydia Ko.
2023 Notes: Opened her season finishign 8th at the Saudi Ladies International. She was 2nd in the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mountain, losing to Celine Boutier who make birdie on the first playoff hole. She was 2nd at the DIO Implant LA Open for her second straight runner-up finish. Hall shot a third-round 62 at Palos Verdes to move within two shots of the lead after 54 holes, and finished one shot back of winner Ruoning Yin. She finishing T-6th at the LOTTE Championship,three shots back of the Grace Kim/Yu Liu/ Yu Jin Sung playoff. Was T-10th at the Cognizant Founders Cup. Was 5th at the Aramco Team Series - London, nine shots back of the winner Nelly Korda.
