Qualified at Half Moon Bay (Calif.) G.L. (Ocean Course) by shooting a 36-hole total of 143.
She is the fourth youngest participant in a U.S. Women's Open. This will be her second USGA Championship.
Won the 2011 CWAC Junior Championship and was stroke-play medalist; she was the youngest playing to win at the age of 12. Won the 2010 California Girl's State Championship becoming the youngest champion in history at the age of 12. Set a Futures Champions Golf Tour record for lowest 36-hole female score by posting a 7-under 135 at Quail Lodge Golf Club. Played in the 2010 Women's Amateur as a 12-year-old; she made it to the round of 64, and became just the third 12-year-old to qualify for match play. Winner of the 2010 Stockton Sports Commission Junior Open; she became the fourth youngest winner in an Open event in AJGA history. Won the 2009 Northern California Championship. She graduated from Kennedy Middle School with a perfect 4.0 GPA and won the coveted Outstanding Scholar Award. Her most memorable golf moment was playing in the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur. Her favorite non-golf moment was her 8th grade class trip to Yosemite National Park this past March. She is half South Korean and half Irish-American; she has relatives in countries today. In the fall, the family is moving to Scottsdale, Ariz., where Hannah will start high school at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix.
