Haruka Morita-WanyaoLu

Haruka Morita started playing golf at nine years old after accompanying her father to the practice range.
Haruka Morita is her Japanese name, and Wanyao Lu is her Chinese name. She plays under the Chinese flag because she can't become a naturalized Japanese citizen until age 21, even though she was born in Japan and her first language is Japanese.
As an amateur, she won the 2012 Japan Junior High School Championship and 2013 Japan Amateur Championship win.
2014 Notes: As an amateur, placed third in the Yokohama Tire PRGR Ladies Cup. She also finished third in the New Zealand Women's Stroke Play Championship and placed second in the Cyber Agent Ladies Tournament.
2015 Notes: She has played in 11 Symetra Tour events, finishing in the top-10 three times, including first place at the Symetra Classic, runner-up at Tullymore Classic, T-5th at the Firekeepers Casino Hotel Championship and T-9th at the Florida's Natural Charity Classic. Finished T-60th at the 2015 US Women's open.
She joined the JLPGA in 2016. She began carding Top-10 finishes in 2017, including runner-up at Axa Ladies Tournament, 4th at Cyber Agent Ladies, 6th at Earth Mondamin Cup and T-6th at Yamaha Ladies Katsuragi.
She is the daughter of Tadaaki Morita and En Morita. Her mother En is the president of Haruka Golf Corporation. She has one younger sister, Yui Morita.
