Hendrik Buhrmann

Has won four titles on the Sunshine Tour and one on the Asian Tour, and represented South Africa alongside Retief Goosen in the Omega Mission Hills World Cup, but the highlight of his career came in 1995, when he holed the winning putt for South Africa in their victory over Australia in the inaugural Alfred Dunhill Challenge, the southern hemisphere equivalent of The Ryder Cup. Now coaches seven South African professionals, including European Tour Member Keith Horne.
Burhman is among a handful of players with the distinction of having finished in the top-60 on the Asian Tour Order of Merit in each of the seven seasons since the circuit's inauguration. Most notably in 2000, he finished runner-up to Jyoti Randhawa in the Singapore Open after taking a three-shot half-way lead. In the same tournament two years earlier, he also placed second, which helped him finish tenth on the Order of Merit, his highest ranking in seven seasons. He says his big break came when he won the Nashua Wild Coast Sun Challenge for the first time in 1993. The biggest moment of his life to date was, however, was playing for South Africa.
Played some on the European Tour, in 11 starts only had one top-10, T-10th in the 1996 English Open.
Got his European Senior Tour card for 2012 after birdieing two of his last three holes at the Qualifying School Final en route to claiming the sixth and final full card.
2013 Notes: After turning 50 in July played full time on the European Senior Tour, played in 11 events, best finish T-11th Winston Golf Senior Open. Won euro32,233 and finished 52nd on the money list.
In 2014, finished T61st in the ISPS Handa PGA Senior Championship.
