Ilhee Lee

Started playing golf at age 10 and credits her parents for influencing her career the most. When she's not playing golf, she enjoys photography and says if she could play another sport professionally, she would like to be a clay pigeon shooter.
Lee turned professional in June 2006 and joined the KLPGA, where she played for the next three years. In 2009, she entered LPGA Qualifying School. After the final round, she was tied for the final card with another player. After a multi-hole playoff, she won the last full Tour card for 2010.
In 2010, her best finish was T-7th at the LPGA Tour Championship.
In 2011, Lee split her time between the KLPGA and LPGA tours. She finished 91st on the LPGA money list to maintain category 11 status; her best finish was T-16th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. In Korea, her best finish was 10th at the KLPGA Championship.
2012 Notes: Played in 22 events, making 16 cuts. Had two top-10 finishes and recorded a career-best T-4th finish at the U.S. Women?s Open. Earned $355,780, finishing 40th on the money list.
2013 Notes: Played 26 events, making 19 cuts. Won the Pure Silk-Bahamas Classic, one of two top-10 finishes. Won $595,800, which ranked her 24th on the Tour money list. Crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings with a T-3rd at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
2014 Notes: She was 37th on the money list with $501,146 and 29th in CME group points with 24 cuts made in 29 starts. She had five top 10s and was T-2nd at the Mizuno Classic. She had three consecutive top 10s in October (T-8th at the Reignwood Classic in China, T-7th at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia and T-8th at the KEB Hana Bank in South Korea) and completed the LPGA?s Asia swing with a T-2nd at the Mizuno Classic in Japan, losing to Mi Hyang Lee on the fifth hole of a sudden-death playoff.
2015 Notes: Played in 28 events making 22 cuts, she finished 24th on the money list and 36th in CME points. She shot 82 in the second round of the Women?s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne, but still finished T-4th. She was T-3rd at the Founders Cup, five shots back of winner Hyo Joo Kim. Lee was tied with Kim with eight holes to play, but Kim birdied the next three holes to pull ahead. Tied her best major finish (from 2012 Women's Open) when she finished T-4th at the Elian Championship.
2016 Notes: Started the year with a T-5th at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA, her best finish and only top-10 of the year.
