Jay Gregory has been the host of the Outdoor Channel's The Wild Outdoors for 27 years. The program features bowhunting, from caribou to sandhill crane to whitetail deer. Gregory took his first job as a golf professional in Chillicothe, Ohio in 1990, but regained his amateur status a decade later. He also plays in a 1980's rock tribute band. In 1991, he was shot in the back and almost ended his life.
