Played in the 2007 (missed cut) and 2008 (T36) U.S. Opens.
Has recorded three top-20 finishes on the Nationwide Tour this year. Best finish this season is tie for second at the Melwood Prince George's County Open in June, played at the University of Maryland. Sectional qualifying was the following day.
PGA Tour member in 2006 and 2008 after graduating from Nationwide Tour each of the previous years. Best PGA Tour finish is a tie for 13th at the 2008 Puerto Rico Open.
Began playing hockey many years before he took up golf. Was a 2001 first-team All-American selection at Kent State, where he was a teammate of 2003 British Open champion Ben Curtis. Also earned third-team All-America honors in 2000. Medalist at the 2001 Mid-American Conference Championship. Earned first-team All-MAC honors his final three years at Kent State and second-team honors as a freshman. 1998 MAC Freshman of the Year. Played in just three 2003 Nationwide Tour events but led the Canadian Tour Order of Merit that year and became the first Canadian to win the Order of Merit since Mike Weir in 1997. Won the MTS Classic. Also played Canadian Tour in 2002. Member of Team Canada, helping lead the squad to the 2001 Four Nations Cup.
