Karinn Dickinson

Born in the Bellevue, Wash., but spent the majority of her childhood in Asker, Norway, where her mother and sister still live. In Norway, she began competing in junior events, culminating in a victory in the 2006 Norwegian Junior National Championships, when she won by a decisive 10-stroke lead. Her father moved back to the U.S. to pursue a job opportunity, and she decided to accompany him to get closer to Washington and to see if she could play collegiate golf for her father's alma mater, where he played basketball.
Transferred to Kamiak High School prior to senior year, but in just one season she made a huge impact on the team, becoming team captain and leading the team to the 2007 4A Washington State title. She finished runner-up as an individual at the 2007 4A Washington State Championship.
Began her collegiate career at Washington in 2007, winning the Peg Barnard Collegiate title in her freshman season. She also finished T19th at the Duck Invitational and T32nd at the Stanford Intercollegiate. Notched one top-10 finish the following season, a T3rd in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, and one top-25 finish, T20th at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational. Continued to improve in her junior season, with another top-10 finish, T9th at the Las Vegas Showdown, and two top-25 finishes, T17th at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational and T25th at the Bruin Wave Invitational.
Had her second collegiate victory in the opener of her senior season, the WSU Invitational. Also recorded three other top-25 finishes, T11th in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, T14th in the Las Vegas Showdown, and T24th in the PAC-10/SEC Challenge.
In 2012, won the Washington State Women's Amateur and began competing on the Cactus Tour as an amateur. Recorded two top-10 finishes, 7th at Seville and 9th at Wigwam. Also finished T38th at the Arizona Women's Open.
In 2013, won the Washington State Tournament of Champions. Says she plans on participating in LPGA Q-School later this year in an attempt to play professionally on the LPGA tour.
