Shot 71-72â??143 and was medalist at the Colorado Springs, Colo., sectional, qualifying for her fifth consecutive U.S. Women's Open. The 2010 U.S. Women's Open will be her first event as a professional. Won the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur, becoming the youngest winner in the championship's history. A member of the victorious USA Curtis Cup Teams in 2008 and 2010. Runner-up at the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links. Semifinalist at the 2007 U.S. Women's Amateur. At the 2007 U.S. Girls' Junior, shot a career-low 62 in stroke-play qualifying to tie the USGA record for lowest 18-hole stroke-play score and set a course record at Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash. Represented the USA at the 2006 Women's World Amateur Team Championship, tying for 16th. In her freshman season at Denver, had four top-10 finishes, including a win at the Sun Belt Conference Championship. Tied for 27th at the 2010 NCAA Div. I Championship. Earned SBC All-Conference and SBC Freshman of the Year honors. Also named the Pioneer Sportswoman of the Year. A six-time AJGA Rolex All-American selection, earning first-team honors in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Her sister, Christine, played on the women's golf team at the University of Colorado.
