Won the 2011 47th annual Pacific Northwest Golf Association's Senior Men's Amateur Championship at Black Butte Ranch â?? Big Meadow Golf Course in Black Butte Ranch, Ore. His final round was one of the most spectacular final rounds in PNGA history with a 7-under-par 65. This was his first PNGA Senior Men's Amateur title. Won his first WSGA Senior Amateur Championship at Wenatchee Golf and Country Club in 2009. Runner-up at the 2009 Pacific Northwest Golf Association's Senior Men's Amateur Championship. Played in the 2008 USGA Senior Amateur, 2006 U.S. Senior Open, 2003 and 2001 U.S. Mid-Amateur and played for Team Washington on the USGA Men's State Team Championship. His best finish was at the 2008 USGA Senior Amateur when he finished in the round of 32. His daughter, Melissa, caddied for him at his first U.S. Senior Open in 2006, and she will be this year, too. He considered that the best moment of his life, walking down the 18th fairway playing in his first Senior Open with his daughter on the bag. He can't wait to relive that moment this year.
