She started playing golf when she was seven years old.
She has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada. She lives in Texas but has family connections to London, Ontario, where her grandparents reside. Her parents moved to Texas from Ontario one week after getting married. She plays under the Canadian flag.
Junior golf career notes: In 2014, she was an AJGA Rolex First-Team All-American, National High School Coaches Association Golf Athlete of the Year, Texas State Individual Champion, and AJGA Thunderbird International Junior Champion. Finished 3rd at the Kathy Whitworth Invitational, T-12th at the Canadian Women's Amateur, T-15th at the Nanjing Youth Olympics, and T-24th at The Porter Cup. She also made it to the round of 32 at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. She is a four-time U.S. Girls Junior participant and made it to the round of 16 at the 2013 U.S. Girls Junior Championship. She won the 2015 Ontario Women's Amateur, three strokes ahead of Brittany Marchand and Naomi Ko.
In 2017, she won the British Colombia Women's Amateur by four strokes over Jaclyn Lee, and the Women's Western Golf Association championship, beating Dylan Kim, 3 and 1, in the 36-hole final at River Forest CC in Elmhurst, Ill.
She played college golf at Texas A&M and was the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2015 when she finished second in the SEC Women's Championship. She was a three-time first-team All-American (2016, 2017, and 2018) and won four times while in college, including twice as a senior. She was second at the 2018 NCAA Austin Regional, one-shot back of winner Maria Fassi. Played in three LPGA events in 2016 and '17 missing the cut. She played in the U.S. Women's Open in 2017.
2019 Notes: Played in 20 Epson Tour events making 12 cuts with four top-ten finishes. Best was 2nd at the Zimmer Biomet Championship. Finished 19th on the money list with earnings of $57,983.
2020 Notes: Played in 10 Epson Tour events making seven cuts. Best finish, T-11th at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship. Finished 48th on the money list with earnings of $9,499.
2021 Notes: Played in 18 Epson Tour events making seven cuts. Best finish T-22nd at the Copper Rock Championship. Finished 96th on the money list with earnings of $7,795.
2022 Notes: Played in 14 LPGA Tour events making five cuts. Her best finish was T-24th at the Ascendant LPGA Volunteers of America. Was 144th on the CME rankings and 152nd on the money list with earnings of $47,148. Also played in 8 events on the Epson Tour she only made two cuts, T-9th at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship and T-59th at the Florida's Natural Charity Classic. After the season, she improved her LPGA status for 2023 by finishing T-17 at LPGA Q Series.
2023 Notes: Best finish, T-7th at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mt., four back of the Celine Boutier/Georgia Hall playoff.
