Marco Penge

Considered a career in football and was in the Southampton academy as a 12-year-old. Penge had a stellar amateur career, representing England at 13 and winning the Scottish Amateur at 15.
2018 Notes: Played 15 PGA EuroPro Tour events making ten cuts with three top-ten finishes. He was T-3rd at the Nokia Masters, a shot back of the BIlly Hemstock/David Coupland playoff. Was T-7th at the Abirate.com Championship and T-10th at the Matchroom Sport Championship. Finished 33rd on the order of merit.
2019 Notes: Played in 15 PGA EuroPro Tour events making 14 cuts with six top-ten finishes. Won the PREM Group Irish Masters by a shot over Alasdair Plumb. He was 2nd at The Golfcatcher Championship, a shot back of winner Alfie Plant. Was T-5th at the Penta Hotels Championship and COBRA PUMA Championship. Finished 3rd on the Order of Merit with pounds25,075 in earnings.
2020 Notes: Because of COVID only played in four events, making one cut and finishing T-61st at the Open de Portugal at Royal Obidos.
2021 Notes: Playing on the Challenge Tour, he suffered a knee injury in August that required right-knee surgery in October. It was a tough recovery as he wasn't able to walk pain-free and spent seven months rehabbing. During all of that, Penge had to wonder if he would be able to walk again pain-free, and his golf career was finished.
2022 Notes: Played in 21 European Challenge Tour making 15 cuts with three top-ten finishes. He was 39th in the Road to Mallorca. Started his year with a 4th place finish at the SDC Open. In his best finish on the Challenge Tour, Penge finished 2nd at the Kaskada Golf Challenge, four shots back of winner Marin Leth Simonsen.
2023 Notes: Playing on the Challenge Tour, his best finishes 4th at the D+D Real Czech Challenge, T-20th at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius on the DP World Tour.
