Mark Morrison

Shot 69 and was medalist at the Lahaina, Hawaii, sectional to qualify for the 2012 U.S. Senior Open. Also played in the 2007 U.S. Senior Open.
Won the 2007 BI Candies Scotch 4-Ball. Won the 2007 Commissioner's Cup Waikoloa Village Points Club. Runner-up at the 2006 Aloha Section PGA Match Play Championship. Lowest competitive 18-hole score is 65 in the 1997 Hawaii State Open Pro-Am at Hapun (Mauna Kea) as a fill in for one of the teams that needed a pro. Has made two holes-in-one: first one at Coral Springs Country Club in Florida, as a high school sophomore in 1973 playing by himself, and shot his last at Kona Country Club in Hawaii in 1998. Lists his most memorable golf experience as when he shot 64 in a practice round with some of the Waikoloa Village Points Club players last year in May, two days before the Kona Open and the next day, he made his first double eagle on the second hole. He is a golf instructor and PGA Class A member. Also a mechanical engineering consultant. His superstitions are �??spattered spider�?� ball marking and feng shui phoenix. He started the Kona Open in 1996 which benefited the Kona Community Hospital and started a new local tournament opportunity for Hawaii golfers. He does close-up magic and was a member at the Magic Castle in Hollywood (says he still would be if he lived in California). He restored a 1965 Corvette from the frame up. Designed his house and built three waterfalls. Enjoys driving in one of his Corvettes, yoga, working out, listening to music, learning Italian and watching TV/DVDs in high definition.
