Martin Flores

Shot 69-71 at the Columbus, Ohio, sectional to qualify for his first U.S. Open.
He played in the U.S. Amateur in 2001 and 2003, but failed to qualify for match play either time.
He attended Mansfield High School in Texas, was State Champion and was Named a First-Team AJGA All-American. He attended college at the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 2004 with a BA in Marketing. He was an Academic All-American and an All-Big XII selection. Martin has played on the Hooters Tour (2007-2008), the Nationwide Tour (2009 and 2011), and the PGA Tour (2010 and 2012) since turning professional in 2005.
In December 2009, earned his first trip to the PGA TOUR with a 4th place finish at the PGA Tour Qualifying School. His rookie year highlights on the PGA Tour included one top-ten finish at the Reno-Tahoe Open and three other top-25 finishes during the year. In 2011, Martin competed on the Nationwide Tour collecting four top-ten finishes and ten top-25 finishes. This solid play landed Martin in the top-25 on the year-end Nationwide Tour money list, which gave him his full playing privileges on the PGA Tour in 2012. He has four top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour so far in 2012.
