Martin Rohwer

He started playing golf at 6 by going to the driving range with his dad. Went to the University of Alabama Birmingham. He has full playing privileges on the Sunshine Tour. Played Challenge Tour 2018-2022, on and off. His dad is an equine vet, working on race horses, so he has a keen interest in horse racing. Sister (Stacey) caddied in the qualifier.
Rohwer has been a regular on the Sunshine Tour since he finished 2nd in Qualifying School in 2017. His best year had to be in 2019/20 when in 23 starts, he had three top-ten finishes and won for the first time at the Investec Royal Swazi. He was 8th on the money list, winning rand1,070,153. The 2021/22 season was also good when he won the Vodacom Origins of Golf and was 2nd in the Gauteng Championship.
