Meghan MacLaren

Daughter of former European Senior Tour boss David MacLaren. She began playing golf when she was 4 years old and hasn't stopped playing since
MacLaren won eight times as a Florida International University player before graduating with a degree in English last year. She played a starring role in the 2016 Curtis Cup shortly after graduation. MacLaren earned Great Britain & Ireland's winning point at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club, south of Dublin, by defeating Bethany Wu, 2 and 1.
in 2016 MacLaren won on the Ladies European Tour Access Series as an amateur. She's notched up another title on the LET's junior circuit, winning this year's Azores Ladies Open. She currently sits second on that circuit and 67th on the Ladies European Tour money list from just one tour start.
In 2016, Meghan finished T-34th at the Lalla Aicha Tour School Qualifying and earned her 2017 card on the Ladies European Tour. She tried and failed at LPGA Q-School.
2017 Notes: A stellar year for Meghan on the LET Access Series where she had seven top-10s, including her second win and a third place and she became the Order of Merit winner, thereby gaining her full card on the 2018 Ladies European Tour.
2018 Notes: Meghan started the season in style by winning her first LET title in the Women's New South Wales Open at Coffs Harbour Golf Club, in her fourth start of the season, earning a winner's category of membership on the LET. Additional highlights included winning two medals in the European Team Championships at Gleneagles, including silver in the Mixed Team Championships and bronze in the Women's Team competition with Michele Thomson.
2019 Notes: Meghan successfully defended her Women's New South Wales Open title, albeit at a different venue, Queanbeyan Golf Club. She played in all 20 LET events and finished fifth on the Order of Merit. She recorded five top-10 finishes in addition to her win and one of the highlights of the year was her second-place finish behind Challenge Tour player Daan Huizing in the Jordan Mixed Open.
2020 Notes: Played in nine LET events, making eight cuts. Recorded two top-10s at the Investec SA Women's Open (T-7th) and the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic (T-6th) on her way to finishing 23rd on the Race to Costa del Sol.
2021 Notes: Meghan mainly played on the Symetra Tour in the United States and secured victory at the 2021 Prasco Charity Championship. Meghan played in five LET events with a best finish of T-23rd at the Jabra Ladies Open. Meghan returned to Q-School and finished in the top-20 to earn Category 11 status for 2022.
2022 Notes: Played in 21 LET events making 14 cuts with 3 top-ten finishes. She was 7th in the Race to Costa Del Sol and was 24th on the money list with earnings of euro144,503. Won the Australian Women's Classic by a shot over Maja Stark.Was T-2nd at the Ladies Italian Open, she lost in a playoff to Morgane Metraux who made an eagle on the first playoff hole. Shot 65-67-67 to finish 2nd at the Lacoste Ladies Open De France, were she bogeyed the first playoff hole to lose to Ines Laklalech.
2023 Notes: Best finish, T-9th at the Ladies Open By Pickala.
