MinYoung2 Lee

Min Young Lee came across the game of golf at 11 years old when she saw a tournament on television and soon after started to learn to play with her brother. While her brother quickly lost interest in the sport, Young Lee kept learning and getting better. She turned professional at the age of 19 and joined the Korea LPGA in 2011.
In 2015 she was diagnosed with kidney cancer and underwent surgery. In Young Lee's first tournament back after the successful surgery, she captured a victory at the Kumho Tire Ladies Open in 2016, her first win since 2014.
2011 Notes: Competed in 17 KLPGA events, earning two 2nd-place finishes at the Lig Classic and the KB Financial Group STAR Championship.
2012 Notes: Made 20 starts on the KLPGA, recording eight top-10 finishes and two 3rd-place finishes at the HITEJINRO Championship and the Woori Investment & Securities Ladies Championship.
2013 Notes: Made 22 KLPGA appearances and captured a win at The Chosunilbo - Posco Championship, as well as nine other top-10 finishes.
2014 Notes: Played in 27 KLPGA events and secured wins at both the OKSavingsBank Se Ri Pak Invitational and the Lotte Mart Ladies Open.
2015 Notes: Competed in 22 KLPGA tournaments, recording 11 top-10 finishes and a season-best 2nd place finish at the KDB Daewoo Securities Classic.
2016 Notes: Made 27 KLPGA appearances and captured a win at the Kumho Tire Ladies Open. Obtained a total of 14 top-10 finishes.
2017 Notes: Captured two wins on the Japan LPGA Tour at the Nippon Ham Ladies Classic and the Yamaha Ladies Open Katsuragi. Finished second on the money list with a stroke average of 70.72. Lee was awarded the Fighting Spirit Award at the Japan LPGA Tour awards in her first year on the Japan tour.
2018 Notes: Secured the win at the Daikin Orchid Ladies' Golf Tournament, carding an eleven-under in three rounds.
