Naomi Eun Young Ko

Ko enjoyed a successful junior career, despite not winning too often. Ko won the 2012 Aspen Junior Golf Classic before rattling off a series of top-10 finishes in CN Future Links Championships from 2012 to 2014. She finished 12th at the 2014 South American Amateur and 16th at BC on the Canadian Women?s Tour. She notched quality top 10s in 2014 AJGA events like the Junior at Lone Tree (6th) and the St. Louis Junior (2nd). She was also the runner-up at the 2014 CJGA Nike Golf Junior Series at Hazelmere. She was 16th at the WWGA National Amateur Championship before winning the BC Junior Girls? Championship.
She committed to play collegiate golf at NC State, where she just finished her freshman year. She played in nine events, and carded a low round of 68 on the final day of NCAA Regional play. Her best finish came at one of the bigger events of the season, the ACC Championships, where she finished 5th, the best of any Wolfpack player. Her scoring average of 75.41 was good for second-lowest at NC State.
