Nick Mason

Was introduced to the game of golf around the age of 13, but didn't start playing competitively until he was about 16 and in high school. He credits his dad for getting him started. Says his most memorable golf experience was qualifying for the U.S. Open.
Played college golf at the University of Hawaii-Hilo where he was a two-time All-American. Once he turned pro in 2006, was very successful on some of the smaller mini tours, where he won seven times.
Won the Hilo Invitational in 2006, 2008 and 2009. Won the Hawaii State Open in 2007 and most recently, 2014. Won the Nebraska Open in 2008 and the Mid-Pacific Open in 2014 as well. Has runner-up finishes in the Utah Open and Waterloo Open in Iowa. Has played two PGA Tour events missing the cut in 2010 & '12 Sony Open in Hawaii and 2 Web.Com events, missing cut in 2012 Utah Championship and Soboba Golf Classic.
When he's not playing golf, Mason likes to fish and play Golden Tee. He has six career hole-in-ones to his name and once carded a 60 in the Colorado Open, which is his his lowest career 18-hole score. Says that he has a strange swing in that he has a few 'glitches' in the takeaway; however, he feels as if he's hitting the ball as solid as ever right now. Played basketball and baseball in high school but was tired of playing team sports, so he decided to give golf a try. His father, Maj. Gen. Ray Mason is the U.S. Army Forces Command logistics director.
