Ryan Sullivan

Nicknamed "Sully," began golfing at 2 years old at the encouragement of his father, and made his first hole-in-one at age 5 at the 1994 Million Dollar Shootout at Tanglewood Country Club, acing his drive on a 114-yard hole. Had a successful junior career, in 2006, won the Donald Ross Junior and North Carolina BIG I, as well as the Dogwood State Championship, and in 2007, won the North Carolina High School Championship.
In 2009, won the North Carolina Players Championship. In 2010, finished 5th in the North Carolina Amateur, and competed in the U.S. Amateur Public Links but missed the cut.
Played collegiate golf for UNC Wilmington, posting impressive scores as a freshman and sophomore but had breakout season junior year when he finished T6th at River Landing Intercollegiate and 14th at Rees Jones Invitational. Opened senior season with a tenth place finish at the Maryland Intercollegiate, his career stroke average of 75.77 is among the top-25 all-time records for the school.
Sullivan turned professional in 2012 and initially played on the eGolf Professional Tour before becoming a member of the Web.com Tour at Web.Com Tour Q-School at the end of 2013, finishing T-56th. Sullivan qualified for the 2013 U.S. Open for his first appearance in a major championship but failed to make the cut following rounds of 81 and 82. In 2013 Sullivan played in 6 PGA Tour Latinoamerica and won the Puerto Rico Classic. He finished the year 12th on the money list.
2014 Web.com Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 13; Rounds Played - 39; in money - 7; top -10 Finishes - 0; Scoring Average - 71.41 (rank 129th); Season money $15,633 (rank 154th); Best finish: T-18 at the Cleveland Open.
2015 Web.com Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 15; Rounds Played - 38; in money - 5; top -10 Finishes - 0; Scoring Average - 71.03 (rank 114th); Season money $12,621 (rank 158th), Best finish: T-30th at the Chile Classic.
2016 Notes: Played in 4 Web.Com Tour events, was T-7th at the LECOM Health Challenge which is his only top-ten and best career finish. After that Sullivan had no status and has Monday qualified to get into events.
2017 Notes: Played in 4 Web.Com Tour events, best finish T-16th at the Price Cutter Charity.
2018 Notes: Played twice on the Web.Com Tour, T-26th at the Lincoln Land Championship and missed cut at the LECOM Health Challenge.
2019 Notes: Missed the cut at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Championship on the Web.Com Tour.
When he's not golfing he enjoys playing basketball and ping pong and admits he spend too much time on eBay. As a child, he was a huge Batman fan and wore a cape around everywhere, says it was to make up for being the smallest kid growing up, also why he became involved in golf, a sport where his hand-eye coordination was more important than his size.
