Serena Aoki

The origin of her name is taken from "Serenade' by her parents, who are musicians. Serena started playing golf at the age of seven. Aoki's major achievements during her amateur career include winning the 2008 "Kanto Junior Golf Championship" (women's 15-17-year-olds) and winning the "National High School Golf Championship Summer Tournament."
She has been a regular on the Japan LPGA since 2012. She has played in 272 events on that tour. Aoki won for the first time at the 2017 Yonex Ladies Tournament. Claimed her 2nd win at 2021 Ai Miyazato Suntory Ladies Open Golf Tournament. Her best financial year was 2018, when she won yen38,188,500 ($347,076).
2019 Notes: Played in 28 Japan LPGA events making 15 cuts with three top-ten finishes. Best was T-2nd at the Centruy 21 Ladies Golf Tournament she was a shot back of winner Mone Inami. She finished 35th on the money list with earnings of Yen33,399,923 (US$245,873).
2020/21 Notes: Played in 46 Japan LPGA events making 32 cuts with 8 topten finishes. She won the 2021 Ai Miyazato Suntory Ladies Open Golf Tournament. She finished 21st on the money list with earnings of Yen75,730,043 (US$557,486). She played in her first event outside of Asia at the AIG Women's Open missing the cut. She played in four Toto Japan Classic,'s which is co-sponsored by the Japan LPGA and LPGA.
