Seungsu Han

Goes by the name Steve. Got his start in golf with the encouragement of his dad. He is a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. Was named the 2002 American Junior Golf Association Player of the Year. After the fall of 2007, he has had 11 top-20 finishes in his career with the Running Rebels, including four top-10s and two top-fives. He was named to the All-Mountain West Conference team in his first two years in college. Captured the 2006 Porter Cup Championship by two shots and finished runner-up at the 2006 Sunnehanna Amateur, both major amateur events. He was named the 2002 California Junior Player of the Year after winning five tournaments, the most of any junior player in a season (Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson both won four).
As an amateur participant, and in his junior season at UNLV, he advanced to the final stage of the 2007 PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament, eventually earning conditional status on the 2008 Korn Ferry Tour. Did not turn pro and stayed at UNLV. Earned fully-exempt status on the 2009 Korn Ferry Tour by finishing T70 at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. His 11-under-par score allowed him to make it on the number.

2010 Notes: Played in 12 Asian Tour events, best finish T-14th Iskandar Johor Open. After that struggled to get on any tour and missed the cut at the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open in 2011. In 2012 played in 4 Canadian Tour events but didn't make it past the 2nd round.

2018 Notes: Played all over the world in nine European Tour events, best finish T-4th in the Oman Open. Played three times on the PGA Tour, best finish T-5th at the corales Puntacana Resort. Played in 14 Japan Golf Tour events, best finish T-6th at the Heiwa PGM Championship and Japan PGA Championship.
2019 Notes: Played in two PGA Tour events, best finish T-26th at the Corales Puntacana Resort. Played in Five Korean Tour events best finish T-7th at the KPGA Championship. Played in 22 Japan Golf Tour events, best finish T-2nd at the ANA Open and Bridgestone Open.
2020 Notes: He played mostly on the Korean Tour in nine events, his best finish winning the LG Signature Players Championship, and was 3rd at the KPGA Gunsan C.C. Open. Also played in three Asian/Japan Tour events and was T-16th at the Bandar Malaysia Open.
2021 Notes: Played in five Korean Tour events, best finish T-10th at the Hana Bank Invitational. Played in 17 Japan Golf Tour events, best finish T-5th at the Dunlop Phoenix.
2022 Notes: Played in 7 Asian Tour events, best finish T-18th at the Royals' Cup. Played in 8 Japan Tour events, best finish T-19th at the Token Homemate Cup. Played in 18 Korean Tour events, best finish 2nd at the LG Signature Players. The next week was T-3rd at the GolfZone-Toray Open. Was also T-5th at the Hyundai Insurance Invitational.
2023 Notes: With a final round 71, Han won the Kolon Korea Open by six shots over Kyungnam Kang. With the win, Han secured one of the two spots on offer in the 151st Open Championship at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. For the year, he has six top-ten finishes on the Korean Tour, 2nd at the LG Signature Players Championship, T-3rd at the GolfZone Toray Open and Woori Financial Group Championship, T-5th at the Hyundai Insurance Invitational, and T-9th at the DGB Financial Group Open.
