Stephen Keppler

PGA Director of Golf at Marietta (Ga.) Country Club. He tied for 28th in the 2016 Senior PGA Professional Championship and T-18 in 2014. Finished T-12th in the 2001 PGA Professional Championship, his best finish in nine starts, T-8th in 1996 & '99. Finished T-19th in the 2000 Southern PGA Professional Championship, and T-4th in the 1997 Southern CPC. Enjoyed a prolific junior and amateur career in England, winning the 1978 British Junior Championship. Represented Great Britain-Ireland on the 1983 Walker Cup Team, and competed for Great Britain in international competition in the junior, youth and team levels. Four-time Georgia PGA Player of the Year, 1993-96. Winner of the 1990, '94, '96 Georgia PGA Section Championship, 1991, '93 Georgia PGA Match Play Championship, 1995, '96 Georgia Open, 1993 Perry Classic, 1993 Griffin Classic, 1988 Georgia PGA Assistants Championship. Runner-up, 1995 PGA Club Professional Player of the Year. Winner, 1991 Georgia PGA Assistant Professional of the Year Award. Served on the Georgia PGA Section Tournament Committee, 1994-96. Competed in 6 PGA Tour events in 1995, with best finish a third-place performance in the BellSouth Classic. Led Summit Chase Country Club to the 1995 Oldsmobile Scramble National Championship. Posted a career-best 62 during the 1993 Griffin Classic at Griffin (Ga.) Country Club. Playing the back nine first, reached the ninth tee (actually 18th tee) even par. Proceeded to play his final 10 holes 10-under-par for a nine-hole total of 27. Has recorded one hole-in-one, coming in a casual round in 1998.
