T.J. Howe

Before heading to Penn State, where Howe was an All-American selection in 2010, he won the 2005 Pennsylvania High School Championship. While a Nittany Lion, Howe?s only collegiate victory came at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in his sophomore year in March 2009. Howe also shared medalist honors at the NCAA East Regional Qualifier, advancing to the 2010 NCAA Finals, where he finished T-72nd. Thanks to an impressive collegiate career, Howe sits 5th in scoring in Penn State history.
During his career at Penn State, Howe also enjoyed a successful stint at USGA championships. He qualified for the U.S. Amateur in both 2007 and 2009. He reached the round of 32 in 2007, but failed to advance to match play in 2009.
After turning professional in 2011, Howe has dominated mini-tours. He?s won seven times, including a victory at the 2015 Nova Tax Group Open, a part of the eGolf Gateway Tour, earning him $14,000. He finished 2nd on the tour?s money list with $57,750.83 in 2015. The same year, Howe qualified for the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, his only PGA Tour start, but missed the cut. Played in three Web.Com Tour events but missed the cut in all, finished T-123rd at Web.Com Tour Q-School.
2016 Notes: He earned his card by finishing T-5th at the Mackenzie Tour Q-School and currently plays on the Mackenzie Tour of PGA Tour Canada. In five starts only made on cut, finishing T-55th at the Bayview Place DC Payments Open. Did qualify for the U.S. Open at Oakmont, but missed the cut.
2017 Notes: Only played once missing the cut at the Rex Hospital Open on the Web.Com Tour.
